I spent a good chunk of Sunday moving furniture around my house debating whether or not I wanted to get a new loveseat. The final decision? It can wait. But man, am I feeling all that work now!
This week's deck is the brand new Teknebrae Tarot by Pixel Occult. This is a super fun, punchy, cyberpunk deck that I was so excited to receive this past week!
Here's what's on tap:
I have a brand new workshop series starting at the end of the month called Beyond the Keywords where we'll be focusing solely on one card at a time. We'll talk about how to interpret the card in different contexts, how it interacts with other cards, the symbolism, and how the card shows up in real life through lived experiences. Each workshops is $11 CAD, and the first one, on the Wheel of Fortune, is happening on August 25th at 8pm EDT.
Early bird tickets ending soon to the mini-retreat, Align & Anchor, Veronica of Kasama Wellness and myself are hosting. We'll be talking all things manifestation, using the tarot, and relaxing with some beautiful sound as we float and snack on a sail boat. It's happening on Thursday, August 27th from 4:30-7:30pm.
Looking for insight and community? Join me for this month's Tea & Tarot session on Monday, August 17th at 7pm.'
Pay What You Can recorded audio readings are available until August 31st. Grab your place in the queue, and get some insight with a 3-5 card reading (minimum $10 CAD, delivered within 5 business days)

Six of Wands: It's time to step into the spotlight and be recognized for all the hard work you’ve been putting in especially without guilt or downplaying the accomplishment. It's okay to take a victory lap! Accept compliments that come your way, acknowledge your progress, and celebrate your wins, no matter how small. Sometimes we need a moment to feel proud so we feel motivated to continue going.
Question: What recent accomplishment are you ready to stop downplaying and actually celebrate this week?
♉︎ - TAURUS
Eight of Wands: Things are picking up speed! If you’ve been waiting on news, stuck in a rut, or feeling like things have just been crawling, know that the energy is about to shift. Keep yourself open to sudden opportunities, and when something aligns with your goals, don't overthink it or drag your feet. Strike while the iron is hot, trust your gut, and ride the wave of momentum and enthusiasm.
Question: What exciting goal or opportunity are you ready to say a fast, enthusiastic yes to right now?
♊︎ - GEMINI
Four of Pentacles: Wanting to maintain some semblance of stability in life, is normal. But be sure that you aren't clinging so tightly to material safety that it's in detriment to yourself. The feeling of security shouldn't come at the cost of your inner peace. Take a look at where you might be operating out of fear or scarcity, and don't be afraid to loosen your grip on the material just a bit. Be wise about where you're investing your resources.
Question: Where in your life are you holding on too tightly out of material fear, and how can you nourish your spirit instead?
Two of Pentacles: Life is a constant balancing act, and you might feel like you're juggling a few too many balls in the air this week. Don't try to force everything into perfect, rigid order; stay flexible as things move around you. Prioritize what actually matters and give yourself permission to drop the non-essentials. Remember, balance is something that takes constant readjusting as things ebb and flow.
Question: What non-essential task or expectation can you drop this week to make room for a little breathing space?
Ten of Wands: There's a lot piling up on your plate, and if you're not careful, you're heading straight for burnout. Carrying every single burden yourself isn't a badge of honour (it's just exhausting). Take an honest inventory of what you're currently lugging around, and recognize that it is entirely okay to put down what was never yours to carry in the first place. Delegate what you can, say no to extra demands, and conserve your energy so you can finish strong.
Question: Which heavy burden are you currently carrying that was never actually yours to take on?
Four of Wands: This is the perfect time to pause, and celebrate the foundations you've built, and the community you've created in your life. Connect with the people and places that allow you to feel supported, and give you a sense of home. Anchor yourself in that sweet sense of belonging. Enjoy where you are, see what you've created so far, and take time to simply enjoy.
Question: How can you actively honor and enjoy the sense of home and stability you've built in your life?
Seven of Cups: There's a little overwhelm swelling up this week as you may find yourself with your head in the clouds, or staring down a menu of what feels like endless possibilities. While exploring options is fun, staying stuck in what if won't actually help you move forward. Narrow down your focus, filter out the distractions, and trust your heart and intuition to guide you towards the best route.
Question: Which choice or goal is genuinely calling to your heart, and which ones are just shiny distractions?
Nine of Swords: If middle-of-the-night worries and mental spirals are taking over your mind, take a deep breath and pause. Remember that your anxieties are usually scarier in your head than they are in real life. Stop letting your thoughts run away with the narrative. Dispel some of the worry by getting them out: talk with a friend, journal, or speak your heart out into a voice memo (don't worry, you don't have to listen to it later). Your thoughts are just thoughts.
Question: What fear is currently spiraling out of control in your head, and how can you bring it into the light?
The Hierophant: It's okay if you don't always push yourself to figure it all out on your own. This week, realize that you may benefit from leaning into tried, tested and true method of doing something, seeking advice from a mentor, or following a structure that's been in place for years. At the same time, be sure that you're following rules and traditions because they actually resonate, not as a performative action.
Question: What tradition, routine, or piece of advice is serving your growth right now, and what no longer fits?
Three of Cups: Community, friendship, and joy are taking center stage for you this week! Make space in your schedule to gather with the people who support you, uplift you, and celebrate right alongside you. You aren't meant to do everything alone, and right now, your soul needs the energy of pure connection. Plan a night out, catch up over a cozy coffee, or collaborate on something fun; let yourself be held and supported.
Question: Who in your life makes you feel deeply seen and celebrated, and how can you spend time with them this week?
The Hermit: Step back from the noisy world and turn your focus inward (at least for a little while). Make time for solitude, so that you can clearly hear your inner voice. You don't need everyone else's opinions, validations, or advice right now; the answers you're looking for are already within. Clear your schedule, turn off the notifications, and give yourself the gift of undisturbed reflection, contemplation and soul-searching.
Question: What truth is your inner wisdom trying to tell you once you step away from all the noise?
Death: Something in your life is naturally reaching the end of its cycle. It may be an old habit, an version of yourself you no longer identify with, or a situation you've outgrown. Trying to hold on to what's fading will only cause friction. Give yourself permission to surrender to the end of this chapter, and make room for the exciting new energy waiting to take its place.
Question: What old chapter or habit are you finally ready to close your doors on so something new can grow?
